2,熟語 invite A to B AをBに誘う
本やリスニングなどでよく見かける頻出度の高い熟語です。ほとんどの場合、Aには人Bには出来事がきます。
例文）I was happy,because my girlfriend invited me to dineer,but she told me see you.
3,文法 give A B とgive B to A AにB を与える
よく文法書では第3文型とか第4文型と書かれていますが、あまり好きではありません。
後者のgive B to A を最初に使い慣れてから前者のgive A Bも使い慣れていくといいと思います。もともとgive は与える、toという前置詞(名詞の前に置ける奴)のイメージは矢印→なので後者の方はイメージもしやすいと思います。
例文）King of Japan gave much money to public people on last weekend.
4,熟語 on 〜ing 〜するやいなや
上の訳が日本人にとってしっくりくると思います。〜するとすぐにとかでも代用できそうです。on(前置詞) はくっついている、というイメージなので1行の中に置いてあげると時間軸上で、コンマ後とくっついているイメージができますね。なので「すぐに」という意訳ができます。
