Once upon a time,a hardworking elder man dropped a rice ball which his wife gave him as a lunch into a hole where mices live.

Mices welcame the elder man to party to thank for rice ball and gave him a much money as a gift.

Greedy elder man by their house dropped a lot of rice balls into the hole so as to get much money like the hardworking man and mices welcame him as well.

While mices were dancing, he amazed the mices and tried to rob the much money which mices prepared as a gift but unfortunately,mices caught the greedy man because he couldn’t find way to home because of blackout, so he came back to home with nothing.

1,単語　dropp を落とす

droppの後に前置詞のinやon,intoを付け加えることもできます。

例文）I dropped one thousand yen on somewhere today.

今日千円をどこかに落とした。

2,文法　as 前置詞の働きをするas

asは色々な働きを持っていて、中でも接続詞として多くの活躍を見せてくれています。ですがここでのasは前置詞の働きを持っています。接続詞としてのasには理由や、〜の通りになど色々な意味を持っています。前置詞のasはありがたいことに１つだけで’〜として’と訳します。なのでas＋名詞の塊を見つけたら〜として、と訳していいでしょう。

例文）I told him that you are wrong as a best friend.

一人の親友として彼にお前は間違っている、と言った。

3,単語　greedy　欲張りな

いい意味でも悪い意味でもこのgreedyは使われます。

例文）I don’t wanna have the greedy friend.

欲張りな友達を持ちたくない。

4,単語　rob を盗む

盗む動詞の中でもrobは無理矢理にという強い意味が込められているので、強奪したと訳すのも正解です。また、熟語ではrob A of B　AのBを盗む　というように訳されます。

例文）My friend seemed  to have robbed me of much money.

私の友達は私のありったけの金を盗んだようだった。
