After school, I talked about host family with an agent who connected me and this school,and she said I can leave there at any time if I want.

I went to shoping senter to purchace new book but I didn’t have any plan to buy book,so I bought one of the best sellers.

While host family and I have dinner,host mother told me I have to leave this house next Saturday.

I was amazed at this because the agent didn’t tell me that and I wanted to ask her why, but I noticed that this won’t change, so I decided to find new accommodation.

1,熟語　at any moment　いつでも

どの瞬間でも、という訳が転じて　いつでも　という訳になりました。anytimeと同じ使い方ができるので両方使いこなしたいです。

例文）You can start it at any moment.

いつでも始めていいよ。

2,単語　purchase　購入する

buyの１つ上のレベルの単語だと思います。どちらかというとpurchase は記述の時につかわれますので、口語的には向いていないです。

例文）My mother purchased new iPhone for my birthday.

母が僕の誕生日に新しいアイフォンを買いました。

3,熟語　be amazed at 〜に驚く

be amazed で驚くというという訳になるのか。amazeは驚かせるという意味の動詞で、驚くという感情は何かが驚かせないと起こらない現象だからです。２つの文を見てみます。

1,Goasts amaze me.お化けは私を驚かせる。

2,I am amazed by goasts.私はお化けに驚かされる。

例文と上の熟語の紹介とで前置詞が違うのはbyは何かが意図的に驚かされた場合で、atは自然な成り行きで驚いた時につかわれます。

例文）I was amazed at Begeta’s dance on stage.

ステージ上でのベジータのダンスには驚いた。

4,文法　ask 質問する　尋ねる

とても変な単語です。第三文型にもなるし第四文型にもなります。自由度の高い単語です。

第三文型　I asked what your mother likes. あなたの母が好きなものを尋ねた。

I asked my friend about his majour.友達に彼の専門分野について聞いた。

第四文型　I asked my friend where your mother is.友達にあなたの母はどこにいるかを聞いた。

例文）I asked host mother how long I can stay here.

ホストマザーにどれだけ長く滞在できるかを尋ねた。
