日本昔ばなし　出口がない

A kind elder man and his wife who work together let several travelers stay there,and the man thought how beautiful she is ,while one of them was dancing.

Afterwords the man learned not to concentrate on the work, so the wife told him ‘I can’t work alone, please help me’.

He told her ‘Ok please leave here and she started to prepare leaving.

After saying thak you for everything, the man said ‘Don’t use the door because it’s my door.’ therefore you mean you want me to stay here? she asked and Yes. sorry the man said.

1,文法　let O do Oに〜をさせてあげる

使役動詞と呼ばれる物の中で一番縛りが弱い優しい単語です。一番強いのがmakeで(無理やり)Oに〜させる、で次にhaveでOに〜させる、最後にletで(やりたいように)Oに〜させる、です。

例文）Let me ask some questions.

いくつか質問させて。

2,単語　afterword その後

then　それからの一個レベルが高いバージョンです。

例文）I had shower,afterword I ate icecreem.

シャワーを浴びて、その後にアイスを食べた。

3,熟語　learn to do　〜するようになる

似ている単語はbeginだと思います。ここでのtoは不定詞のtoなので否定のnotを入れるときはtoの前に置くのが正解です。

例文）I learn to eat vegetable a lot.

野菜をたくさん食べるようになった。

4,単語　mean 意味する

自分がよく使う言葉の１つですYou know what I mean?(意味わかる？)多くの人が動詞の意味しか知らないと思いますが、形容詞(名詞にくっつくやつ。大きいとか冷たいとか)の意味があるのをご存知ですか？それは　卑怯な　という意味です。少し驚いたかもしれませんがネイティブは頻繁にではないですが使います。

例文）She is so mean that almost everyone dislikes her.

彼女はとても卑怯なのでほとんどみんなが彼女を嫌っています。
