日本昔ばなしシリーズ　うばすて山

In a village, people must throw elder women over 60 years old away ,and a small family including just a son and an elder mother who will be 60 in tne next day.

The son took his mother to the mountain but he can’t do this ,so he had the mother live in a basement behind government‘s back.

A king asked people questions which another king of neighboring billage brought and the the son answered exactly for mother told these asnwers the son.

The son told the king these correct answers is from his mother, so the king stopped the law because the king thought elder’s clever ideas are necessary in the village.
