The hobby of foxes in a mountain is amazing people, so most people didn’t try to come in the mountain.

However Gon who is mascular people scare goes into the mountain to beat them and these foxes failed to amaze him.

The foxes wanted fishes in his pouch and an elder female fox had an idea to get rid of him that she changes into beautiful woman and has him pay attention to her.

The foxes succeeded in the plan and were delighted to get many fishes.

1, 熟語　fail to 〜に失敗する

ここでのtoは前置詞としてではなく不定詞として働くので動詞の原形が続きます。

例文）One of my friends failed to pass the exam.

友達の一人は試験に受かりませんでした。

2,熟語　get rid of 〜を取り除く

同じ意味の単語はeliminate です。両方使いこなしたいですね。

3,文法　使役動詞　have

使役動詞といって、目的語Oに〜させると訳されます。形は使役動詞＋目的語O＋do,doing,done, or to doが繋がります。使役動詞にもいろいろあって、haveは目的語の後ろにdo,doing,doneが入ります。

例文）My friends had me choose the left.

友達は私に残り物を選ばせた。

4,単語　delight 大喜び　喜ばせる

名詞と動詞の２つの用法を持っています。感情動詞なので喜んでいる、と役するときには受け身系のdelightedを使います。誰かが行動してその人は驚くからです。

例文）I was delighted My father gave me an expensive watch.

父が高価な腕時計をくれたのにはめちゃめちゃ嬉しかった。
